Getting Married/ Megacon info
Well, today is the day; My wonderful fiance and I are getting hitched tonight, which is very exciting for me, and less so thrilling for those waiting on my book because, let's face it, I'm not touching it until I am back from my honeymoon. Therefore, I am basically just blogging to gloat. Haha. My real name will actually become Kimberlee Long instead of Goodner, which loosely ties into the fact that this is my author's blog and I am wasting space with random personal life, but hey, so far I've got only one follower (Hi, Rachel!!!) and she is part of the wedding party and therefore will forgive my rambling. Also, she is a fellow (and might I add excellent) author herself and more than understands how difficult it is to keep on top of time schedules with these things. Well, I am officially sharing a table with my mom (April Goodner) at Megacon. Most likely. She will be advertising her book, "God's Still Small Voice: Screaming from the Bassinett at the End of the Bed." It's about me. Buy it. Also, my brothers and father appear as well, but I am the most important. FYI, God's still small voice of humility probably did not come to my mother through me. Anyway, moving on, if I have not completed Wolf Prints, then I will be advertising "Diamond Heels." Probably. If I actually go. Meaning, if I can afford to buy a bunch of hard copies of my book, because really, I lose money with every sale anyway, so it's not like I can buy more after people buy the books. ;) Still, it's worth it if my book gets read. That's all I truly care about. So I will sell it as cheaply as I can without jipping Lulu. That is, if I can afford some in the first place. Well, I have to go get married now. Tata!

Characters of "Wolf Prints"
Here is a compilation of a few main characters in my upcoming novel, "Wolf Prints." I figured it would be nice to get to know a little bit about the people who are dictating my time lately. To be quite frank, I am officially no longer making the decisions of my own book's outcomes. You see, I was very sure about the rules each turn would take, but Drake, Sophia, Steven and Elly have entirely different ideas, and they keep doing and saying things that makes the turns into twists and even the occasional loop! Yeah, that sneak peak I had given earlier, you may as well consider it void. Too many things have changed, and I must say that the new is far more intriguing, and far less mystical. Of course, now you all think I might be a tad crazy, speaking as if the characters I depicted are actually living beings making mischeif of my novel, but trust me: at least I'm not dangerous! ;) Seriously, though, this book truly is bringing out the best of my imagination. I really wish I can have this novel finished, published, and in my hands by march so I can attend (something)con, but alas... well, I still hope so. Maybe I'll get lucky. Anyway, enjoy.
Drake Everacre: Grew up in central Florida area, but moves to Chicago, Illinois in his youth before returning to Titusville, FL as a Werewolf at 18. He harbors a dark, mysterious past that continually haunts him, and his only solace is a brazen pride that slowly eats away at his identity.
Sophia Sanchez: Resident of Titusville for her entire life, but not interested in leaving -or doing anything outside her comfort zone. At all. Period. She has Type 1 Albanism, and it earns her a lot of unwanted stress. She has low self confidence, and she rely's heavily on what people think about her. When her life takes a crazy turn with the introduction of the new kid in school, Drake Everacre, she is sure her world is about to fall apart.
Steven White: A well-liked, easy mannered freshman at Astronaut highschool. He may be only 15, but he is mature enough to become the first member to join Drake's Pack, and the first Wer in over a hundred years not to appear as little more than a disfigured, bulky mass.. The instigator of what becomes an all out civil war between members of "The Great Pack," he proves himself to be more than the "pup" Drake thought him to be.
Eleanor "Elly" Charleston: Preppy, happy, and somewhat blonde-brained War Eagle cheerleader. She flocks with the popular crowd, but she feels drawn to more "ordinary" people, like her best friend, Steven. When Steven goes missing, she suspects the worst and contemplates taking matters into her own hands, landing her in a heap of trouble. The petty issues of her peers left meaningless in the domaneering shadow of eminent danger, she finds that she has some choices to make.
Bejamin "Ben" Cook: A young, muscular mechanic who works for his uncle at a local autoshop. As a coordinator for his church's youth group's road-trip events, he has fingers in just the pies Drake needs. Although subservient to Drake, Ben's age and caring nature makes him the pack's father-figure almost instantly. When he finds himself a real father, fear sets in -not only for the added responsibility, but for the danger in which his little family is suddenly put.
Cody Faulkner: A central Florida native, had once been Drake's best friend. When Drake mysteriously moves back down to Titusville, Drake's father asks he and his mother to take his wandering son in. At first, Cody is upbeat about his long-lost friend's reappearance in his life, but things have changed since Drake moved to Chicago. Now, nothing seems to be right, and Cody begins to wonder if there isn't more to life than... whatever it is Cody even consider's life. The worth of his existance challenged, Cody begins to search for something more important than himself. What he finds is far from what he had expected.
Anyway, there is a little character synopsis for you to chew on. :) Also, super-sneak-peak, there is a character I only mention once or twice, and her name is Silvy Brown. I'm not going to reveal much, but keep her name catalogued in your brain, because she is sneakily paving way for the sequal. :P On that note, I wrap up my blog. Be blessed, y'all.
